Two photos for fabulous novelist Tracy Fabre, to clear up a bit of confusion between us

This post has nothing to do with Tracy Fabre being a fabulous novelist, actually, even though she has two fabulous novels out now, Reasons & Evan's Castle (that are actually really very good!!!).

This article is about a photo I posted of a big big building in downtown Minneapolis that confused Tracy Fabre because the edges were cropped off so you couldn't get a sense of it very well, so she first thought it was taken from inside and it was a reflection.  This is it:

This is a picture I took of it yesterday while I was out and about.  I am standing up one block from it - and this gives it some perspective as to what it all is:

YES! Now all is made (more) clear. It's still kind of optically illusory because the first photo makes it seem like the grass in front of the building is in a looooooooooong wide lawn, and that street shot says "nope" -- but THANKS.

Eye understand now. And it IS a cool building.

It is in front of a long wide lawn. The first pic also crops off the trees on the sides. They are hiding that long wide long in the second pic.

What a neat building. Nice to see the perspective on it, but the first picture is amazing.
