Among the many items for sale at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds car show were magnets.
Some of them carried a message. None were subtle.
Just in case the Obamacons or Obamites or Obam-bams (or whatever they're called) think they'll have a cakewalk this November, remember the red side
And now for the "avert-your-eyes-if-easily-offended" alert.
There was plenty of the who is more macho sentiment flowing at the car show. From the garb to the slogans on said garb. And there were plenty of devils or skeletons with middle fingers raised.
But the tail-end of this car below truly wanted to convey the spirit of,well, testosterone. If there were a doctor in the house, surely he would have made the vehicle cough, no
And just for kicks, one more shot of the kid in the gleam of the day. Honestly, for all the excess, the two of us did have a pretty good bonding moment.

I guess Michael, you and your liberal guilt ridden friends would have a hard time with all the fossil fuel burning and the glorification of the proud history of the United States and the American automobile. Each car has it's own charactor, each charactor has their own car. Not like the group think that Prius drivers show today.
It's an event that I brought my son, who is 12. In the past I have brought my father, who now is 80 and it's too much walking. I am thinking of buying an old car, but some home improvements and some other stuff are a higher priority right now.
How come MPR doesn't "remember the red side" more often in their reporting?
Funny, I was feeling pretty guilt-free. We had a ball at the event.
But you still have to admit... the times they are a changin'.
I have heard that last line before ... it's right up there with the "public broadcasting is just a corporate shill" one we get from those with that bluer shade. We're trying our best to get all sides -- red included. Any advice on how to reach out to more in the red column I'd willingly take.
