Paul Walker, one of the actors in the Fast and Furious movies, died along with a friend in a car crash yesterday.
It is believed at this time that he two young men were occupied with doing high speed maneuvers in a red Porsche when the vehicle crashed into a large pole, starting a fire that charred the vehicle into a nearly unrecognizable black and red mess. It is to be hoped that they may have died in the crash rather than suffering through being burned to death. Yes, you can die in a car fire in a gasoline powered vehicle, duh, despite all the nonsense about electric car fires.
I am exasperated and frustrated by this. do we not realize that when they say "don't try this at home" there is a reason for that? Well, granted, films and video games can do bad things to the minds of impressionable young males. Yes, playing with guns can come out of that with bad results. And driving a juiced up sports car into a very hard object can happen too.
Was Walker driving? Not clear. What is clear, however, is that everything that Paul Walker would ever become is never-to-be.
