Another woman is missing out of Tennessee, and officials say that she may be in danger. Twenty-eight-year-old Kristen Brenner hasn't been seen since Monday afternoon, but that isn't what makes her disappearance worthy of an alert -- as it has still only been several hours, not even a day. However, police say that "a man" recently threatened her.
Officials have not offered any clarification on who this unidentified man is or whether or not it's believed that this person might be behind her disappearance. It seem that the tight lipped nature of this alert could indicate the possibility that she's been kidnapped or murdered, but officials in Tennessee have always notoriously been quiet during missing persons and homicide investigations.
Her vehicle is missing along with her, which could indicate one of two theories: She is either on her own voluntarily missing, or the car will eventually turn up abandoned either before or after she is located. It's a 2005 Lexus, but the color has not been clarified in the media yet. The license plate is 367-4TG.
Hopefully this young woman is just voluntarily missing and this so called "city watch" is has just been done out of concern for her well being. However, there's a grave possibility that this woman has been harmed by someone who threatened her. Was it a boyfriend or someone known to her -- or was it some random nut-bag in the area? Tennessee has become known for its prominent number of high profile disappearances, which include Holly Bobo, Shelley Mook and Kristy Moon among many others. It's hopeful that this disappearance doesn't end up like those.
