CHANNING TATUM admits to star news that he had a “crying fit†while his wife, JENNA DEWAN, was giving birth to their first child earlier this month.
Channing Tatum appears to be a very tough guy—and a very sexy one at that!—both in person and in his movies. But when it was time for his wife, Jenna Dewan, to finally welcome their first  child named Everly early this month, he couldn’t help but soften up.
Like really soft… with waterworks and everything!
In a Thursday interview with Chelsea Handler, the “White House Down†star revealed what he went through during the labor:
“I probably went to the bathroom four times and had a crying fit. Like, I’m just like, ‘I don’t know what to do!’â€
He also admits that while he is proud of his baby momma, the most difficult part for him was seeing her in pain and him feeling helpless. He says:
“There is a real reason why God did not give, like, [guys] this ability to have babies. Because we would not be able to do it. You guys, I don’t know how you do it. It’s a real thing. It’s like ‘National Geographic’ animal-style, for real. I don’t get it.â€
“It’s like someone’s hurting, someone that you love, and you can’t do anything about it. You physically cannot help.â€
He added, joking:
“I’m still not helping — and the baby’s out! Men are useless, but we are really useless during this. The baby’s gonna come out whether you’re there or not.â€
Aww, Channing. Don’t worry! Just think: You’ll have the rest of your lives to prove that you’re one great father!
