I know, I'm so wishy washy!!
I've not yet decided what to do for next fall.. that will be completely up to my daughter, whether she wants to continue doing dance through school.. which is not a great program as far as actually learning to be a good dancer. It's more or less just for fun while teaching kids the basics. But my daughter is really good, so I wanted to see her get some better training. But as I posted yesterday.. she isn't going to be a professional dancer, so why not just let her have fun.
But what I have decided is to sign her up for a summer session through a local ACTUAL dance studio. This way she can refine her skills, get a little better, and be ahead of the game in the fall when regular dance starts up again. Plus this might help her get into a better dance group through the school in the fall.
After getting a taste of what the actual dance school has to offer, she can then decide if she'll dance through the school, which she's been doing for 7 years now, or through the studio.
Plus this will give her something fun to do in the summer, because we don't have anything else lined up right now.
This is my daughter's first ever dance picture when she was 4 years old, taking ballet. She's 10 now.
