I really wanted the sountrack to Wicked, the Broadway musical hubby and I saw a couple weeks ago. So I went looking for it on Amazon and found it for $10.
I ordered the actual CD.. not the download. First of all, I don't have an mp3 player anymore.. I have no idea what happened to my iPod. 2nd of all, the only time I ever really listen to CDs is in the car while I'm driving and that's what I wanted the CD for.
To my surprise though, as soon as I submitted my order for the CD, I was able to download the MP3's onto my computer, so now I have the entire soundtrack on my computer, as well as the CD to listen to in the car.. and for no extra charge!
Hubby also downloaded the songs onto the laptop too.. so we can listen to it on my computer, his laptop, or using the CD. And if I ever get another MP3 player I can download the songs onto that.
I was really happy they let me do that, because it took a few days for the CD to come in (I got it yesterday, and I ordered it on Friday or Thursday last week). I was really dying to hear some of the songs again, and I couldn't get them all on Youtube because of copyright stuff.. so it was great I could download the music and listen to it right then and there instead of waiting days for the CD to come in! I'm super happy with it!
Have you ever ordered a CD from Amazon.com, or do you just download the MP3s?
