Yesterday, I looked at Marsha C.'s photos and video of an ice storm in her neighborhood, feeling grateful it wasn't happening here in Michigan. Today, the bell has tolled for us, however, so I snapped a few photos to share.
The trees at the boat launch are bowed down with a heavy ice coating. That is sleet falling, not snow.
Our trees are encased in clear, sparkling ice which is beautiful, but treacherous.
