I woke up this morning to find dark skies. It was confusing because I knew it had to be morning. I looked out the window and saw amazing dark clouds. I ran downstairs because I knew my dog was probably freaking out. He was waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs. He practically jumped into my arms he was so scared. I turned the tv on and saw that there was a severe storm threat. A few moments later, the lightening and thunder began and then I lost electricity. My dog and I just cuddled on the couch waiting for the show to end! It was amazing! I loved every second of it. We don't get a lot of rain here in San Antonio, so it was quite exciting to have such a storm. We really need the rain too because we are in a drought.
After the storm, I ran upstairs to take a shower to go grocery shopping. I put my key in the ignition and nothing happened. My car was totally dead! My dog was confused when I cam back in the house a few seconds later. I think my battery is dead (at least, I hope that is all it is).
We had to go out to dinner because I didn't get to the grocery store. My husband came home and we went to Taco Bell before dropping my son off at work.
We're not going to get a new battery until the weekend, so it looks like I am homebound the next few days. Oh well!
