NCAA March Madness 2013 Bracket Predictions:...

ESPN analyst Joe Lunardi has officially made his NCAA March Madness 2013 bracket predictions. Lunardi, the mind behind "Bracketology" at ESPN's website, has given his complete round-by-round picks for the upcoming NCAA Tournament. So which teams does Joe believe will advance farthest in the Big Dance?

With the NCAA Tournament bracket revealing Louisville, Indiana, Gonzaga and Kansas as this year's #1 seeds, did Lunardi follow in the footsteps of many other analysts and choose the Cardinals to win it all? Yes he did, although Lunardi chose an interesting final opponent for Rick Pitino's squad, that hasn't been mentioned in many Final Four predictions so far.

According to ESPN.com, Lunardi has a few upsets happening in the first round of his bracket. He believes #11 Belmont will get the best of #6 seed Arizona, and #11 Saint Mary's will be too much to handle for #6 seed Memphis. Saint Mary's will have to advance from the upcoming "First Four" by defeating Middle Tennessee to earn their spot in the "Round of 64" though.

As for the fate of the #1 seeds, Lunardi sees Kansas falling to #4 seed Michigan, and Indiana losing to #4 seed Syracuse. His Final Four features Louisville defeating Gonzaga, and then Florida defeating Miami in what would be an interesting battle of teams from the same state. In the end, Lunardi believes the Cardinals will triumph over the Gators to win the National Title. Florida hasn't been mentioned much in terms of "National Championship" talk, but they could very well be the sort of non-#1 seed to make it to the finals.

Lunardi seems to be taking the sorts of risks with filling out a bracket that produce better results. However, in the past, there's been some even lower seeds getting to the Final Four and with the uncertainty this past season of college basketball has featured, it's very likely a new Cinderella will show up among those last four teams.
