Have you tried this? My newest favorite pizza topping is tomatoes. I don't know why I had never tried this before but it's great! I'm not a real adventurous pizza eater. I don't like much on it. I'm perfectly happy with a cheese pizza but I like black olives, pepperoni, and onions too. We were trying to order a pizza at work that everyone would eat, on a Friday, and ended up getting a tomato pizza. It was so good! Tonight we ordered a pizza but they didn't have tomato as a topping so I stopped at the store and picked up a tomato. I threw it right on top of the pizza and it's delicious! What's your favorite topping?
I have a quick story about tomato pizza. A couple of years ago, we had a foreign exchange student come stay with us from Germany. After we picked her up, we took her to Pizza Hut. I asked her what kind of topping she liked and very confidently in her terrible English, she said margarita. I told her she couldn't have a margarita because she was too young! Apparently, tomato is margarita in German. The poor girl had to eat pepperoni pizza!

So glad you discovered how good tomatoes can be on pizza.
One thing I love to do is saute canned clams in butter and put that on top too. :)
