I didn't used to watch so much tv. I guess as I hurt more and stay home more I do though. Now that I think of it I'm not really watching it so much as listening to it while I'm doing other things. Usually a little housework, crocheting, or even playing solitaire.
Anyway sometimes I hear things that amuse me. Of course the things that amuse me may not amuse you. :D This is from some show my 18 year old was watching about Emergency Room patients.
"Air goes in and out. Blood goes around and around. You have to have a liver to live. Your kidneys are smarter than you are. You can't fix stupid."

And to be absolutely honest most primary care physicians have no clue what it is like nor how to treat it (short of pouring on multiple drugs without any "reaction checker" investigation and then you have a whole new set of symptoms that you have to try to determine if they are drug induced or a offspring of your parent disese! If I sound manic about this I am because right now I am at one of the lowest points I have been and depression is rampant.
That said a good movie or forensic tv show or a good book is a safer escape than another pill. I am not crazy about tv myself but when I am too tired to hold my book or laptop and focus to read the tv is a welcome way of getting outside myself. I have become quite fond of HGTV's international house hunting where I can watch people buying homes in places I have given up on getting to travel to.
sorry you are having a rough time lately
we often have tv on in the background, usually the news and weather
i guess that is kind of a bd habit, but there it is
