It was reported earlier today that Casey Anthony is subsisting on the kindness of strangers, but who are these nutcases who are helping "Tot Mom" survive?
Well, it turns that people can donate to the reviled Floridian, through a webpage named "CaseyAnthonyisInnocent.com," and sadly, there will probably be even more cash rolling in, once people learn about the site. Casey strolled into court today for a bankruptcy hearing, claiming to have barely anything in financial assets. She said she has only a few hundred dollars in the bank, and pays no rent.
But, who would run a website that helps this horrible woman? Well, there is a married mother in her 40s, who lives on the West Coast, and goes by the name Melissa, who operates CaseyAnthonyisInnocent.com. Melissa said the jury came to the right decision in 2011, and that Anthony needs all the help she can get.
Melissa sounds like a very kind person, albeit a bit naive, however she's very misguided in this endeavor. In this down economy, there are surely other people more deserving of charity than Casey. Anyone who followed the Anthony case, knows she had some involvement in the disappearance of Caylee.
Nevertheless, that hasn't deterred people from sending in cash and gift cards to keep her afloat for nearly two years. But, it's been a long time since the acquittal, so how long is this financial support going to last?
