While in Asia, Adam Lambert just got inked again and this time it's a triangle with the Latin words "Lusus Naturae." Although not spotted at his concerts last week, the tattoo was first seen by fans when he performed in Shanghai on March 3. The Latin phrase means "freak of nature" and this is the second Latin phrase tattoo for Adam. The new ink marks Adam's seventh tattoo. Also on his right arm he has an Eye of Horus image, an infinity sign, a skeleton key, and an astrological symbol on his shoulder. Adam's other Latin tattoo is on his left arm and says "MUSICA DELENIT BESTIAM FERAM," meaning "Music Soothes the Savage Beast." He has a small tattoo on his hand that says "OOFTA."
Years ago, Adam shared that being different can be
difficult in his "It Gets Better Video" when he said, "It's hard. I think being different is always going to be a tough climb." But he continued by advising viewers, "What you're doing by being who you are, is you're keeping it real and you're being really brave." Adam has always kept it real by being himself and constantly shares his thoughts with others, even if they are different from mainstream views. In fact, just last week he tweeted, "I prefer folks with their own, individual point of view and the balls to verbalize it."
Adam's new tattoo is a big hit with his fans, who have been raving about it on social media since a photo of it began circulating online. This is no surprise, as a fan favorite lyric from Adam's Grammy nominated hit Whataya Want From Me is when he sings, "It's me, I'm a freak. But thanks for loving me, cause you're doing it perfectly." Every time he sings the song at a concert, the crowd erupts during this lyric, and many are known to wave blue glow sticks as well.
