I'm Louisa Juardo and I am planning on running away from my mean dad. He has me working day and night in his market, Ralph's Good's. I have no friends because they are also afraid of him. I don't know the townspeople very well, but some offered me a place to stay and I am grateful for their kindness. I can't except because father would find me I just know he would. Mother died when I was young, I have no one but father. If there is other family, he is hiding the fact from me. I have a feeling he is hiding a lot from me and I will find out what it is someday. First I must find a way to sneak out of the house or store when he's not watching me. This will be hard as he watches me very closely. I know of a cave I found and played at as a child. I never told anyone about this place, that's where I will go for now.

Louisa, my name is LynnEllen. There are many of us here who will help you and protect you. There's a 102 year old lady out in the mountains near the church poking around with a donkey named Mabel. She's a bit grouchy and cantankerous, but she'll help you.

I have heard of you, and this lady. Yes, maybe she can help me. I am touched by the townspeople and their kindness to me. I want a life of my own and I'm going to get it, but it won't happen as long as I'm with my father. He drinks and is very mean.

If you ever find yourself needing an immediate respite just come to the candy shop in Old Town, "Chocolates and More". We have had a bit of excitement here and can't cook any popcorn in the microwave, but there is a comfortable room upstairs behind steel doors. You will always be safe there.

By the way, microwave popcorn is DANGEROUS! I just got that message yesterday.

This would give people with more long term capabilities to get you settled in somewhere you can be happy and be around people who can care about you and who would give you themselves to care about.

Hi lousia, Grainne Ni informed me of your difficulty and I have an idea for you that may solve your problem if you are willing to work with seniors. My firm holds a majority owership in The Calypso Residence, a gated community for seniors on the outskirts of Bernalillo, just 20 minutes from Albuquerque.The position comes with room and board on the estate with a generous salary plus benefits. Just let know when I get back in a few days if you are interested:)). By the way, we have a very competant security staff that does a great job of keeping unwanted visitors out, since this is an exclusive and private seniors residence.

Louisa, this sounds like a wonderful place for you to get started again and to get away from the man whom I do not believe is your real dad.
If you want remember that you can always get a bus down to the Chocolates and More for complete safety. Lady Killigrew and I are working on a place of safety with many benefits for getting a new start.

Oh, I just read above Grainne Ni. It sounds to me that they're working a wonderful situation for you. Older people can be very kind and loving. You might enjoy a bit of that. They also tell jokes many times. Their stories can hold you for hours if you like stories of the old times.

Or, if you would be safer making arrangements in advance, just call. I can be around the corner from your house in a jiffy wherever you are.

And Louisa, if you like popcorn, we have an old timey popcorn popper and plenty of popcorn in the cabinet. Takes just a few minutes and is easy. The frig tends to be stocked with leftovers for warm meals and deli meat for sandwiches, oranges and apples, celery and zucchini for snacks. Whatever you want. We cook large meals to have plenty to eat on the spur of the moment. You won't go hungry here. And if you want, you can cook what you like.

I have not had popcorn since I was a child. Oh, I believe he is my father, but there is something strange about him. I can't figure out why he trys to keep me so tight under his wings. All you ladies are so kind, that cave certainly won't be a very good place to hide for long. I will have to make a decision soon.

Now you may feel an odd presence at some point. I suspect Margarita is on her own discovery mission and wants to know you are all right. If you hear the clickity clackity click of a woman's high heels know that you are in good company. Margarita is a good spirit.

Hello Ms. Lynn, I am still waiting for the right moment to get away from my father. I think it will be soon, some nights he retires early, it's than that I will sneak away. I have decided the cave would not be a good place to hide. When I am ready I will let you know. I do believe in spirits, I'm happy to know Margarita is a good one.

Louisa, I am so glad to finally hear from you. Margarita has just told me she will stay with you until you are ready to make your move. She has excellent communication skills for those who hear her and will sound an alarm the moment one is needed.

We'll be waiting for your call, or a word from Margarita. You must be a very special person indeed for Margarita to go off by herself like this. Normally Margarita sticks to me like glue.

Really? I don't know about being special, but I am thankful Margarita will be with me. This is exciting, I have felt so lonely all these years. My father has kept me a prisioner, but no more. I will be 20 soon and it's time to take a stand.

Wow! Hello Louisa and Wow again! Mabel (my donkey) and I are treasure hunters. We would love visit your cave. Have you explored it for hidden treasure? Mabel and I have the necessary equipment for finding hidden treasure. Grainni NI (Priscilla) had some pirate relatives who hid a treasure in a cave somewhere around here and we haven't found it yet. We've been searching for years. Can we come and explore your secret cave?

Hello Ms. Lee, I found the cave as a child playing alone. I never told anyone about it until now. My father doesn't even know about it. It's huge and cold in there. Yes, you can explore it it's in the hills pretty much hidden near rocks and trees.

Welcome Luisa, youa re always welcome to stay and hide out at my farm, Small Wonders. It is very quiet as the cowpokes are in the field all day or exercising the horses and I am usually giving riding lessons so pretty peaceful and plenty of spare rooms.

Louisa, just look at all who are opening their arms and hearts to you. I would say that makes you very special. And now you have another option, a horse farm. As a young person I couldn't imagine anything more wonderful. More doors will open for you. Time will take care of that.

And Margarita is with you and will stay with you. She will not leave your side. She has an ability to let me know what she's thinking no matter where she is. She hasn't left me for more than a few minutes in over 20 years. You must be very, very special.

We'll have popcorn and anything else you want when you get here. Just off the top of my head you have Yoshi finding a place for you, Lady Killigrew and Grainne working on your behalf, Ms. Lee and Mabel, and now Amber at Small Wonders. And you have me and Margarita and Rene ready to whisk you off and get you settled.
