Adam is not the only American superstar to take advantage of this endorsement opportunity. American professional basketball player Dwayne Wade has also endorsed the "RIFT" Chinese video game. According to a report by Ballislife last week, Wade was rumored to have been paid an 8-figure sum for the endorsement. Check out his similar promo trailer below:
Whether or not Adam made close to an 8-figure sum for his endorsement deal is unknown, but the video game endorsement is a great way for him to cash in on his fame in Asia. He is well known in Asia and is currently performing several concerts there. Adam's "We Are Glamily Tour" has already made several stops in Japan, and he has a show in Shanghai tomorrow night. Additionally, the mini tour will stop in Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia. The American Idol alum is a big hit in these countries and fans have been tweeting their excitement about the shows for months. Some have even created their own t-shirts, signs and pins to commemorate the concert in their country.
What do you think of Adam's endorsement deal? Would you buy the video game as a result of seeing Adam's advertisement?
