I have been sitting here thinking about these 2 people all day and how each affected my life. We all know they were talented and did roles that were excellent. Many times people say actors aren't the nicest people and here I'm writing about two people that I really respected from a business where some people just want to be in the limelight.
Cliff Robertson was in the business over 50 years and did so many roles that I'm going to mention Charly a role he won an Oscar and the Spiderman Movies, as he played Uncle Ben. In television he did At&T Commercials for 10 years.
He passed away one day after his birthday at the age of 88. Be sure to check out his web site, as he talked about events in his career there.
Bonnie Franklin passed at 69 from cancer. She hadn't been well for awhile. I'll remember her from One Day At A Time where she played a divorced Mom of two daughters. It was when people didn't talk about divorce and she was a groundbreaking in a subject that mattered to so many people. I had several friends going through divorce at the time that really felt the show helped them realize they could work and have a family life. Its not easy and she didn't gloss over life.
