Is there a way to get the download on my Kindle Fire?

Hi, Cliff. I just wrote you a two page reply, and now it's disappeared. Ugg! Anyway, let me try to recap.

When you get a Kindle file (.mobi format) from anyplace other than your usual purchasing method through Amazon, for example, you need to go around the usual system you use on Manage Your Kindle where you direct files to certain devices.

My usual method is to email the file to myself, open it on my device (like my iPhone or my wife's Kindle) and then open the attachment. Normally, it goes right into the Kindle library. On the laptop, I sometimes have to drag it into the Kindle app logo on my sidebar.

There used to be a way that you could email the file to a certain Amazon Kindle address (I used it about a year ago) and then they would add it to your main library and you could then deliver it to whatever device you wanted. But the emailing to yourself seems to work okay.

Do you have email set up on your Fire? If so, give that a try.

Also, I believe you can hook your Kindle up to your laptop/pc and transfer files across, but I haven't tried that yet!

I have purchased 9 of Aaron's ebooks and one paperback (UPSTAGED) that was not available as an ebook. I have read most and really enjoyed them so do take advantage of this offer. Aaron, one day will you do a post listing the books in each series and any stand alone books? It took some time to try to figure this out so I could order the books in chronological order.

Aaron, reading them has been my pleasure. Do you ever have signed print copies available? I have acquired quite a few signed copies of books written by authors I know-we have a number of published writers in our Sabine-Neches Writers Guild-and I would love to add a copy of one of your books to my collection. Also, if you use beta readers I would be happy to be one of those-I do more of that, proofing and editing than I do writing lately.

I am not on your newsletter subscription list but would like to be. Is it a mailout or e-mail? I believe you have my e-mail address but if not I will gather mail both snail mail and e-mail address.

Keep up the good work. I love the way you intertwine mystery/intrigue and paranormal with love of family and good values without being "preachy" proving that one can write a gripping and pertinent story without assaulting the senses without "trash-talk". Bravo!
