Old Habits Die Hard

You know, the habit of coming in the house and throwing something down.....on the coffee table, on my desk, on the kitchen table....

This afternoon Steve and I got the back 3 seats out of the van and then took out all of the trash and other stuff.  I'm ashamed at just how much we've allowed to amass inside that thing.  I really had no idea....I don't go to the back of the van!  I knew I had a big pile in between the 2 front seats.

I had thrown some of the things into my coat pocket.  What did I do when I came in the house?  I took the stuff out of my coat pocket and laid it on the kitchen table.  I asked myself what I was doing, picked it back up and put the stuff where it belongs.  I spent a good chunk of my kitchen cleaning time yesterday clearing everything off of the kitchen table that didn't belong there.

I did do well otherwise today keeping up with things that I have already cleaned, cleared, and/or organized.

I spent time this evening getting some sewing done.  We are in yet another severe winter storm advisory that starts at midnight and goes until 6 am Tuesday morning.  Schools have already cancelled as well as many other activities, including my quilt guild meeting in the morning.  I do still need to try to get to work though as tomorrow is freezer change out day.  I may call the company though if the roads just seem too dangerous for me to get there.  I have no idea what they would tell me since we are to work on Monday's and Friday's.

I can not stop yawning so I better go look for something of interest to do on here to keep me awake until Steve's alarm starts going off.
