best male actor. the academy is not wrong on that one, Day Lewis as Lincoln was powerful, memorable, and irrestible.

..... And to ice the cake, a clever, droll, poignant, and heartfelt acceptance speech. well, that was the full package.

Daniel Day-Lewis was indeed superb as Abraham Lincoln.
