There is still a lot of good stuff being written. Maybe it was unbelievable once, old articles don't bear that out.

Places stagnate, people get in ruts.

Old shoes are comfortable, tho.

I guess I never used the expression "wonderland of creative writing" but today certainly feels hollow compared to what it was then, as I too have been around since the early days. But wherever we have chosen to say "all that matters is money," things are in decline. There is a rising tide,however, too far out for many of us to see, bringing the news that the strength of our social networks is what really matters and that our economic activities must be built around that premise.

There are people who should just be ignored. The intellectually dishonest and mentally moribund tend to gravitate to self-aggrandizement and ego stroking. They should be left to themselves.

The best way to improve content is to provide great content. We should all be focused on that effort.
