Most days I work in a/c, but other days I'm in the heat. I try to hold out until it gets over 100 then I get in the shower, and wet down, then air dry. That holds me fairly comfortable for several hours, then repeat if neccesary.

Before I go to bed on summer nights, I wet down, then retire fairly comfortably. Sometimes I spritz in the middle of the night with a spray bottle of water. That feels nice.

That has certainly been true for the last two summers here in Missouri and while I feel I've been able to adapt to it somewhat by maintaining a good attitude, that only goes so far. For those who don't have air conditioning to retreat to, I feel sad, as with every other part of this modern mess.
