Heavenly Father, I'm so very thankful for who You are and all You have done and are doing for me and each of us. Lord, I pray that we would continually sing Your praises, just as Paul said that we should rejoice in ALL things, whether in trial or in blessing. Lord, I pray that this weekend that we will seek You and find You, that we will hear from the right and the left, this is the way walk in it. Lord, I pray that Your light will shine so brightly through each of us that others will seek to know about it and come to know You. Lord, bring peace and healing into each and every person's circumstance.
Bring wholeness to those who are ill or in pain. I would like to lift up all those battling cancer. Especially my husband Sean, Nancy, and Pam's daughter's friend Brianna. (She is 15 with her second bout of cancer, they just got the news that the cancer is still there, she is starting chemo again.) Each are at various stages in their battles. Be with them as they fight this and those around them as well to give them all strength.
I lift up Cathie's prayers and I would also like to lift up Barbara and Christina. You know their needs better than we can. I lift them up to You to be cared for in your loving embrace. Give them the strength needed to face anything and everything that they need to over come.
I would like to lift up Pamela's husband who fell at work and is now facing surgery. Help the doctors fix his knee and Dennis to make is swiftly back to working order.
Please be with those that are healing from surgeries. That can be a long road at times. Give them the strength they need for any physical therapy or the patience for bed rest.
I would like to lift up Jean as she is healing from surgery. Help her to heal quickly Lord as the Great Physician that you are.
I would like to add my niece to our prayers as she begins her own physical therapy. Help her to cope with the changes as she needs to throughout the ordeal.
I also lift up Christopher and Angela who are each facing medical issues of their own.
Please be with Ghostly Ghoul's daughter as her mom (Ghostly Ghoul) returns to work.
Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance
