Argo is entertainment, but not an accurate account in many respects of the whole hostage story. Zero Dark Thirty is full of disinformation, not least in supporting the claim that Osama bin Laden was involved in 9/11 and not a useful scapegoat.

They received training on Boeing airliners by Boeing-trained experts at private airfields where companies stores their planes. More airliners are in storage than are flying worldwide . The airlines buy planes from the manufacturers as a total package including maintenance, repair and upgrading . The technology of the planes is kept secret by the manufacturers. Private airfields may have 300 planes in storage , many used as a supply for parts. The CIA owns private airfields,too.
