Just More Snow is All

You know...I always want a day to stay home ALL day.  Did I take advantage and get a lot done?  Of course not....omg.

Actually, Jasmine and I got through quite a bit of schoolwork, so that was quite the accomplishment.

Steve only got to do 2 of his stops before the company said go back home.  He got home around noon and then spent the next 2 hours or so snowblowing the driveway.

I spent most of the afternoon downloading songs to my phone.

I did get some boxes stored away in the basement closet and one of my reviews done that I was behind on.

I'm finally doing some crocheting this evening.

 

Here are some photos I took this morning about 10 am.  We had 12 inches by 7 am and 14 inches at 11:45 am.  I can't seem to find a final total in inches, but it did snow quite a bit more between noon and 4 pm.

Wow, you really got hit....hard! Please, oh please, keep the snow there! We got an amazing 1 1/2 inches of snow ALL day and ALL night.....and, would you believe, all schools dismissed really early, many businesses shut down and some even got motel rooms for their employees because of the "bad" weather.......OMG, that's almost laughable! I told hubby he should get the snowblower out to do the "snow" on our walks......LOL!!!!!
Needless to say, there are many, many extremely happy people around here.......the "bad" storm went completely around us! Hmmmmm, I guess there will be school tomorrow.....LOL!!!!

That's what they would do here. No one knows how to drive in snow and there will be up to 200 car wrecks in the area.

It was still snowing between six and seven pm here in McPherson. I will not try to do pictures from work, it just does not work.

It's odd. Snow doesn't look as good to me this year after we got some of our own. Still a pretty sight, but worries about driving keep popping into my mind.

other than I get cold so easily, driving in it and on ice is what worries me the most.

Wow, that's a lot of snow!
All I can say is, thank goodness that we don't have any snow right now.
But, we're getting sleet which is probably much worse.

We are supposed to get another 6-12 inches....ggrrrr We need the moisture and even though I don't like the cold, it wouldn't be so bad except for the fact that we are moving my middle daughter and her family to town on Wednesday. Not going to be fun packing my van, the Uhaul and their car in this cold and snow.

I feel the same way - can't wait to get a day home alone and think I'm going to do stuff but then it never gets done
