SO tonight I am starting on my seventh book of this year and I am definitely excited about this one. I will be starting....are you ready for it...build up to a drum roll lol...tonight I start 50 Shades of Grey.
I know there has been a lot of talk about this book and I am just dying to know what all the fuss is about. Seeing as I've already been told that this will not be my kind of book I am even more intrigued. I would love to hear if anyone else has read it and what they thought about it and the hype the book has brought.
Here's the synopsis:
"When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unwordly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana's beauty, wit and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too-but on his own terms.
Shocked yet thrilled by Grey's singular erotic tastes, Ana hesitates. For all the trappings of success- his multinational businesses, his vast wealth, his loving family-Grey is a man tormented by demons and consumed by the need to control. When the couple embarks on a daring, passionately physical affair, Ana discovers Christian Grey's secrets and explores her won dark desires."
