When I call a service provider for phone, television or Internet service, I hang up if they mention a two year contract. If their service is so wonderful, why are they tying me down to a two year contract?
I have been with Cox for about 10 years now, and I have never signed a contract. I believe if more people refused to be caught up in two year contracts, we'd get better service, and someone would answer the blankedy blank phone.
Also, when I get the message that my call is so important that I'll have to wait, I just hang up.
I guess I'm getting old and grumpy or smart and tired of no service for a lot of money. What say ye?

Young people have grown up with this. They don't know any different.
I have caller ID and enjoy not picking up when all those businesses which fail to have humans answer calls come calling me.
I came to believe, years ago, that the phone trees exist to prevent customers from communicating with businesses. To me, the businesses are saying they don't give a rat's azz about me or any other customer.
