State lawmakers all across the country busy at work crafting ridiculous, head-spinning laws can take the day off. There is no way they can top this.
A new bill proposed in the Illinois State Senate looks to completely wipe out any form of anonymity on the internet by requiring that the operators of basically any website on the entire internet take down any comment that isn’t attached to an IP, address, and real name-verified poster.
It’s called the Internet Posting Removal Act and was introduced on February 13th by Illinois General Assembly veteran Ira I. Silverstein [D].
Here’s the summary of the bill:
Creates the Internet Posting Removal Act. Provides that a web site administrator shall, upon request, remove any posted comments posted by an anonymous poster unless the anonymous poster agrees to attach his or her name to the post and confirms that his or her IP address, legal name, and home address are accurate. Effective 90 days after becoming law.Not wanting to leave any bases uncovered, Silverstein includes that an “Anonymous Poster†means “any individual who posts a message on a web site including social networks, blogs, forums, message boards, or any other discussion site where people can hold conversations in the form of posted messages.â€
Silverstein also proposes that “all web site administrators shall have a contact number or e-mail address posted for such removal requests clearly visible in any sections where comments are posted.â€
Many reasons for this, Â it might be Hitlers 21st century way of keeping true news away from people so they are not able to get two sides and make their own decisions.
Anybody who is lets say a freedom lover and those who know what this country is about will be instantly thrown in jail with no questions asked. Â Just as it is happening now.
Obama wants you to have one opinion and that is where this Illinois jerk is getting this idea and it's to prepare for what will happen across the country.
This is taking away free speech, invasion of privacy and giving crooks of the white house way too much personal information about each and every one of us.
It will come down to people telling the internet go to hell accept those who have interest as being on the same side as the FEDS.  Sort of like if you can't beat them join them.
There should be quite a petition for this if it should hit Nation wide. Â They already do this in other Countries, if this doesn't open the eyes of " We are being a NEW WORLD ORDER" and no longer America there isn't much left to prove it to people what is going on within our Country and how we will be controlled by other Nations in the end. Â END GAME.

And also since some of us been in China and Japan (and Korea/Vietnam) maybe you should back up your statements with reality...and I don't mean garbage internet stuff. (some of us, don't believe what we read of the internet..most of it is fiction...some of us only believe what we really seen, or know via family that lives in other countries)
Sorry John. Mari ani is the one that brought up someone calling her a racist. If that was off topic, I sure as hell didn't see anyone mention it to her that it was off topic either. I tend to stop reading or listening as soon as some idiot starts with the Hitler crap. It's a paranoid view some of you spew out on a daily basis. If I believed in a God I would be thanking them right now that there are so few nuts compared to us sane people.
"I tend to stop reading or listening as soon as some idiot starts with the Hitler crap"
Oh, the "Never remember!" approach to recent history . . the "Let's forget" what happened in reality-land, so we will be safe from that sort of nightmare ever happening again, approach. And you feel you get to dictate what is and is not relevant to discuss in regard to Government acting as censor of public dialog . . What a coincidence ; )
Well, to my mind, Mr. Obama and many of his faithful followers are "racists", because they are obviously "race"-centric in their thinking. They do not see humans as individuals, but as members of "races", whom ought to be seen as stereotypes, much as Mr. Hitler did in regard to Jewish folks, and other "races".
To me, there is no way for a person that sees everyone as members of "races" not to be a racist . . They already are, by default. They already assume various things about people upon noticing superficial "racial" characteristics. Person X is already associated with stereotypes in the racist's mind, about people that share that person X's "racial" characteristics.
It seems to me the current American "PC" racists, have no problem with seeing everyone as dehumanized stereotypes, just as racists always have seen humans, they just don't agree with other racists about what are the best stereotypes to see various people as embodying.
It's the dehumanizing itself which allows a society to become a nightmarish mess I think, not incorrect technique in the dehumanizing process. Once other humans are seen as dehumanized stereotypes, self generated images, it's much much easier to treat all humans (including those that share the racist's "racial" characteristics) very badly, it seems to me. I think it's the propensity to see others as dehumanized images, rather than full fledged people like oneself, which is the underlying problem, not which images happen to be substituted for which real people.
Turn off the internet? That's not going to happen.
"Every day, we create 2.5 quintillion bytes of data — so much that 90% of the data in the world today has been created in the last two years alone."
http://www-01.ibm.com/software/data/bigdata/
The scale of the data economy is extraordinary. Web related hard/software companies worth hundreds of billions of dollars (Apple hit a trillion last year) are congregating near the top of the corporate heap.
The web is going no where.
With Darknet, meshnets the web is building around centralized control, total internet redundancy is nearly with us.
