Did you see the meteor off the coast of California on Saturday? The meteor was over the ocean but could be seen clearly and brightly in the middle of the day. This comes after Friday's meteor hit Russia and then, the asteroid came uncomfortably close to Earth.
NASA not to worry, but that the asteroid and meteor are totally unrelated. While I can and want to believe that is true, one has to wonder at the large meteor off the coast of California, and why these occurences happen with a day of each other.
What do you hear?

What direction was the track in Russia and the track in California? Unless they were parallel, they definitely were not part of the same phenomenon.
So the two events are independent. Just a coincidence.
