Most importantly by reading I am hoping to encourage other to read books and find some enjoyment in this underestimated entertainment that been entertaining us over the years of time.
*****
Out of the entire books out of “Death Series” created by J.D. Robb (Nora Roberts), I have to say “New York To Dallas” is probably my favorite out of entire series, and show one of the greatest talents of Nora Roberts writing, which is character building and reshaping which proves in this series as you watch the main character Eve Dallas and her husband Roarke grow by each book as you go. Both characters have a back story as it goes from the first book “Naked in Death” and continues on even till now.
This book took place in the future of 2058, which mainly take place in New York City. Eve Dallas our heroine who was a child without name until she walked out from the blood, trauma, and death to be reborn as Eve Dallas. Soon became a cop who stood for the death and those who been wrong.
In this book Eve is going to face one of her strongest rival Isaac McQueen. A man she captured when she was only a rookie. Now McQueen has now escaped with a bruise ego and lust for revenge, McQueen is going back to his old ways as he challenge Eve Dallas for a final show down what should have ended in the past.
McQueen challenge Dallas and invites her to Dallas Texas where she only not face the horrible horrors of McQueen’s crime of kidnapping and entrapping young girls as he torments them of their mind and body. It forced Eve to relive her past before she became a cop and sign of justice, but a helpless young girl. Throughout the whole book you can see how far the main character Eve Dallas have surpass, if you are a fan of the “Death Series” you cannot miss reading this book as you turned in page feeling Dallas suffering and pain as she relied on her strength but as her husband love and belief in her.
It’s a book you do not want to miss; especially there is a hidden surprise guest for Eve Dallas, which all “Death Series” fans will never expect…
In this book J.D. continue to push all her character in this book to maximum potential as they come to life at each page, making you not wanting to stop till you reach the last page of the book.
