I need to start working on taxes. Usually I'm about finished by this time, and this year, I haven't started. I probably need to take them in as they are a little more complicated. I just really don't know where to go. I've always done our taxes myself.
So...what are we celebrating today....
1). Do A Grouch A Favor Day: Gee, it's a holiday for me. I am a complete grump today, as Lily got me up at 3:30 am to go out, and I haven't been able to sleep since then. Look around for someone who is in a grouchy mood today. Then, do him or her a favor that will cheer up their day. I know I could use a favor....LOL.
2). Innovation Day: This day is part of World Creativity and Innovation Week, April 15 - 21 is a celebration of our ability to get new ideas, use imagination and make new decisions to make the world a better place and to make your place in the world better too.
3). Kyoto Protocol Day: From Wikipedia - The Kyoto Protocol to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) sets binding obligations on industrialized countries to reduce emissions of greenhouse gasses. he Protocol was adopted on 11 December 1997 in Kyoto, Japan, and entered into force on 16 February 2005. As of September 2011, 191 states have signed and ratified the protocol. The United States signed but did not ratify the Protocol and Canada withdrew from it in 2011.
4). National Almond Day: I'll be skipping this one, as I'm allergic. Almonds are one of the most heart-healthy foods on the market, as these delicious and wholesome nuts are full of vitamin E, magnesium, and fiber, and can help lower cholesterol. Today, the state of California produces 80% of the world’s supply of almonds. Have some almonds or almond milk today to celebrate this holiday.
Have a great Saturday. I'm hoping just to stop itching...and no, I'm not sure what I ate that is bothering me so bad.
