Our new friend

We got a new friend today,,  for right now we are fostering him till he get fixed and see how he works with other dogs here at home.. 

He is so sweet and a good listener,, 

His name is Scooby  yet I want to call him Sherman..

Such a handsome boy! My Sarge told me his name, his other family called him Rex but that would not do for us too close to my Raggs who we had for 12 years....call him what you want!

When I was fostering cats, I often changed their names. The people on intake had no imagination. All black cats were Cleopatra or Midnight, etc. Call him what you want. The good thing about dogs is that they'll answer to anything.

I walk a dog a few times a week - her owner found her five years ago with a fractured hip after being hit by a car - plus, there were signs of previous abuse. She named her "Xena" after the warrior princess, because she said Xena was a fighter, too.
