9 Dollars An Hour

the president wants to raise the
minimum wage to $9.00 an hour -

he's gone to far & will
destroy the economy -

you mean by paying a worker $360.00
a week for a 40 hour work week he
will bankrupt america -

inan obama heartbeat -

but you don't pay a living wage now -

thats a lie take it back -

if you prove that paying adults even
$18,720 a year is a living wage in the
USA in 2013- then i'd be happy too -

What the hell is wrong with Republicans who fight against raising the minimum wage. These politicians who's minimum wage of $174,000. a year for both Senators & Representatives believe that paying an adult $18,720 a year as proposed by the President is tantamount to destroying the american economy. The avarice of these selfish, angry and fearfull Rep-Tea-Cons reflect a congress so beholden to Corporate America that they support a Minimum Wage that continues to keep families below the poverty line and in a never ending circle of poverty.

What's wrong with opponents of raising the minimum wage? I'm wandering what wrong with supporters!!! Do you really think $9 an hour is enough to live on, with all the rising costs and fewer hours we have to work? Don't be so stingy. $12, $15, or ideally $20 minimum wage is what Americans need! And really, why stop there? Other than the obstacle of "selfish, angry and fearfull Rep-Tea-Cons" why not $50 an hour? Don't we want the poor to get out of poverty?

These Rep tea-cons, are doing what they do best. Kissing corporate America's behind! They couldn't care less about the rest of America, unless there is a benefit for them. Actually there's been proof their lame excuses, hold no water. There are a couple of states I am aware of that have living wages over 9 hr. I don't recall any economic chaos, happening in those states, unless I missed that news.

Goodness gracious! Pinko commie!? Hell I don't even like the color pink lol! Have a job, but need a haircut :( When my employer considers paying a livable wage, I might be able to afford getting one more often than every four or five months. Hell when my employer can actually pay me whats due on payday I might be able to drive without my idiot light screaming at me every two days. How does he think I'm going to get to work? On the good ship lollypop?
And yeah facts are part of the truth. Truth prevails. Lies come unglued eventually. The brainless wonders of society, who rather just follow someone who says so instead of researching, will be those same clueless boobs, who will be pointing and saying, well they said so. Duh! Letting fear be your guide, is just as foolish.
Selfish corporations, making hordes of money off the backs of the little guy/gal always seem to cry the loudest as soon as they know they will have to pay a little more. That's when they get their lobbyists to go charging in to try to keep the little guy/gal down. And they will pay out the whazoo, to see it goes their way. Make any sense? Doesn't to me either.
