I finally got my interview today. Big thank you for everyone's prayers who prayed for me. I may have been nervous, but I didn't overly feel it, and I was pretty much myself. I did catch myself saying "um" acouple of times, which my friend told me not to do (x_X) but it was overall pleasant.
I got there, and the director saw me and asked me to wait a bit 'cause she had a few things to get done and I was "super early" (15 mins [?]).
So, I waited again in the lobby, and while I was out there a lady came up to me and said something like "Hi, how are you? Remember me? I worked with you at Little Oaks." (another child care center).
While she looked a little farmiliar, I'm afraid I didn't remember her, so I said something like "How have you been? " (Just love when that happens). And she went in afterward to talk to the director, who I figured she had buisness with.
Finally the director called me in. She asked me questions and I answered them. I told her about how I became interested in child care, working at Little Oaks, why I enjoy working with kids. I can't "pinpoint" anything I said "wrong" or "right" though if I sat and thought about it I'm sure I could say "I shouldn't have said this/that...." but I am not going to do that to myself.
At one point while I was having the interview, the director said something to me to the effect of "X (the lady from the third paragraph above) was talking to me about how she worked with you, and she said you were wonderful. "
O_o Whoa.
The interview ended with her (the director) saying, "Well, I have a few more interviews to do, then I'll call you and either have you come in or tell you thank you for your time. "
(I hope it's the former, but I made it through [thank you again to those who said a prayer or two for me] and whatever the Lord's will is it is. ;) )

A friend told me not to do that, and I managed for the most part to keep it out of my vocablulary, but I caught myself saying it a few times. ;P
