Got paid by Sponsored Tweets..

I hadn't logged in in awhile, so I went to see if my account was still active. I realized that I hadn't bothered to switch over my e-mail address after changing it a few months back. Thankfully I was still active.. and had over $8 in my account. You can request payout for as much as you want, but they charge $2 if it's under $50. I figured I'd take the cash now.. cuz you never know with these sites.

The payment immediately showed up in my Paypal account.. so that's always a plus!

If you're unfamiliar.. Sponsored Tweets is a website that pays you to post ads on your Twitter account. It's all automatic. You accept and write the ads you want to place, they'll post them for you. It helps if you have a large following.

Hummm, I don't have a twitter account anymore, it was so confusing back when I joined that I just told them to close mine.

It has taken me a long time to get the hang of it.. but I find it comes in handy for posting links and such. It also helps to keep track of your favorite companies, actors or musicians, or whatever else you're interested in.

I do that on FB and I actually understand that one. I guess it all depends on what you want to do. What I didn't know though is that anyone could earn on Twitter, how does that work?

I don't like to post to Facebook.. I try to keep that separate with real life friends.. Twitter is more for earning or whatever.
You don't actually earn from Twitter itself, but there are sites like Sponsored Tweets and another one I used to belong to called RevTwt that posts ads on your Twitter page for you and if someone clicks them you earn $. Or with Sponsored Tweets you can set a price per tweet and advertisers can choose to have you tweet their ad and they have to pay you your set amount whether you get a click or not. That is how I've earned most of my money on Sponsored Tweets.. though I think their activity is dropping. There used to be 10 ads a day to tweet.. today I saw none. I might check out RevTwt and see how the activity is there.. or look for another similar type of site. I'll keep you posted.

I had to delete that previous comment as I made an error, its snapdollars.com that uses trickery, when I first joined they claimed they'd pay me to read email and if I wanted could accept offers they provided ... I don't see spending money to get money on the internet ... now they changed their rules and I'd have to accept offers in order to get paid. So I have $9.91 which I can't get because I'd have to earn $30 to request payment. I learned a couple years ago that those try me free for 30 days routines are scams and I had to beg my bank to stop one of them from charging my checking account. That offer didn't give me a way to opt out in time.

Ooh.. no I don't like to accept offers in order to earn.. but of course that's how the websites make money. The few sites I am on have been my favorites for years.. I very rarely try new sites anymore and when I do I am very skeptical, even after getting paid. Like I said, I've been paid by Sponsored Tweets twice, but it's not easy to earn and now it looks like there's no activity anymore. I checked on RevTwt but see no activity there either. I just joined another site promising to pay for tweets but it's going to take me some time to understand how it works. In the meantime I can keep myself quite busy with Gather, Swagbucks, and Mylot.. and today I finally paid a bit of attention to my blog and Triond.
