I thought maybe the election would help them develop a little backbone, but according to the Times article I referenced above, a lot of them are running scared. Quite a few...I don't remember the number...are in states that went heavily to Romney. There is a very good chance that Obama will have a hostile Congress...even more hostile than the present one...in two years.
