I walk forlorn collecting tears
I walked alone hiding fears
Tears became the salty sea
Fears a part of you and me
I saw sadness claim a life
Left alone a child and wife
Guilt crept into a heavy heart
Drugs and booze did their part
But then I felt the Spirit call
Understood, became enthralled
I was more than flesh and bone
Pointed toward my real home
It’s about helping out others
While here, sisters and brothers
Our Spiritual families are one
All in the same ship, same sun
Give and take of care and love
Not get and grab, push and shove
We’re here to learn and realize
Just who we are, not idolize
Responsible how we think and do
In material worlds, what we pursue
Loving money is a shallow grave
And changes how we behave
Get in touch with the other world
It’s your life that must unfurl
As peace and joy is at hand
Be your captain and understand

So inspirational and uplifting.
Thanks for sharing all those beautiful qualities with us through such a wonderful shower of words, Mistuh Livewire Livesay! hehehehe I feel really happy and grateful to be alive when I meet such words halfway, embrace and imbibe them, and see them slowly become a part of who I am somewhere down the road. In that sense, you'e a true teacher, even though you may never have felt like or wanted to be one, Richie! ThankeeSolankee! :))
