~Maybe Next....~

Maybe in the next lifetime

we will get it right

work out the kinks

which kept us from

could have, should have

in the here and now

Our surrender and defeat

will be marked through

the passage of time

how we allowed our fears

the demons we run from

to slash our weak faith

bury our love deep into

the frozen white earth

Is there anything worse

than a dream swallowed

by an inconstant moon?

I've always had a confrontational approach to obstacles. Tackle 'em head on.

I think tomorrow, you will get it right, work out the kinks, no more could haves and should haves, for your dream can not be swallowed by an inconstant moon. it was a beautifully written piece, Michelle, but you know that tomorrow is just the next moment in this life or the first in the next.

this was an interesting post......

we plan our incarnations in advance, so that we have a chance to be with certain people, be in certain places, work out certain issues, etc...............my idea has always been that, if there are issues in this lifetime, we should probably try to solve them now, rather than put them off for another time.....but that is just ME........

Oh, I agree...but part of the relationships we come across, those which just can't be resolved because of another....I think there are lessons there too.

Not everything is within our control.

I believe my time here is to try and get the most intimate, personal relationships better in my life. As long as I'm here, that will be what I'm working on and to be open to all of the lessons.

I think we actually live out many of our dreams, but we get confused by the overwhelming amount of loss, hurts, betrayals, and realities that also weaves their way into our everyday lives. I thought too, once, that in my next life (as a Hindu woman, I do believe there is a next one) I will do this love thing right, I will be a better mother, daughter, will study more and be smarter. But then I think of how blessed I am to have two kids who I'm so very very close to, parents who could live anywhere with any of three kids but choose to live close to me, a boyfriend who thinks I firm the ground beneath his feet, how I have no college degree but have owned 4 business and now running a successful 3 mill property. There is success in that. In next life I may have other successes and not these.

Michelle with a heart greater then many I have met, a soul so very inspiring to anyone she touches, a poet I wish I could be - you are a success too.
