Nana to Seven Cutiepies

I had no idea she passed away. She always looked and commented on all my posts, but I haven't posted much lately.

Hi DesertDarlene ~ I've missing you around Gather. Yes, sadly she did pass away, and Carol posted the news. Here is the link to Carol's TRIBUTE to Nana, which is FEATURED in A Woman's Life, and many other Gather Groups.

I really miss her.

I know you haven't been posting much lately, and I've missed your posted. I hope you will be sharing more with us. We love what you share {I hope you know that}.

I seem to remember her saying she was in pain and could not do much writing or responding, but would still be viewing all the posts. I think that was last September or October.

I did read the other post.

I went back and looked at all her photos again. I remember her writing about the ducklings, goslings, and cygnets in her neighborhood.

...I know Darlene ~ when I think about it, she was always so wonderful to talk with on Gather. I'm going to repost the FEATURE on her when we were collaborating together. She kept her Gather Group up so well. Her Group always LOOKED so good!

She had a lot of friends on Gather, you know that ~ She had never mentioned her pain to me, so I didn't really know about that. She was always so helpful, and I was not expecting her to pass away at all.

Every time someone passes away here on Gather I feel so sad. Like Chana, and so many others. I can still see Chana with her top hat on in my mind. She had that icon for so long.

And Nana ~ Well her Gather Group logo always brightened my day, and anything else that she shared would be the topping on the cake!

I'll miss her a great deal. And, by the way Darlene, I am so glad to SEE you! I haven't seen you in a long while on Gather.

I'm glad you saw the other post that Carol did, and all the comments to it. My condolences go out to Nana's Family, and seven cutiepies ~

Hi M L M. ~ You know it is always better to remember the JOY and the happiness about someone when they pass away. They are going to a much more blessed and glorious place, and that thought alone is enough to bring a smile to my face about Nana.

Me too August Lady. Nana was really loved around Gather. She has so much here on Gather, and I'm going through the Groups to pull her treasures together. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this contributive message.

Yes she will RedBird ~ you know ~ you know how lovely Nana's Gather Group was. I was very shocked to hear about her passing through Diane and Carol, very surprised. Thank you for sharing your thoughts here.

I am still so sad to know that she's gone... but so glad that she left behind so many wondering memories here on Gather.

What a shame that such a NICE lady passed away. She was on Gather for as long as I can remember and she was always so positive and she made the community special. I am sure all her beloved grandchildren are going to miss her so much!

Hi Jennifer ~ Yes, but we know that even though she will be missed by so many people ~ her family, those seven little cutiepies, all her friends, including those on Gather....she is no doubt in a glorious place of peace in the heavenlies. We will be lifting her family up in prayer, because it sometimes hard when someone so close in the family passes away.

Hi Brenda ~ I'm just getting back to this message about Nana. It still seems unreal to me. I also started having little panic attacks when I went to go clear out some of my Gather Groups and find some of Nana's posts, because there were some people in there who had passed away, (not just Nana) and I'd see their posts and just freeze. I definitely didn't want to delete them, because those were their last messages to the Groups. And then I thought about all the content that had gotten stuck in a que in my Groups that Nana was in, and Gather deleted it all, and I'm sure some of her stuff was in there ~ so I thought about that.

Now I'm feeling sad again. Thanks for responding to this Brenda. Yes, I really miss her too ~ she was so nice, and so supportive, and I really was not expecting her to pass away. Her passing reminded me of Chana. I don't know if you remember her or not, but I was shocked when she passed too. And then there are a number of others who were Gather connections and in the Groups where I was looking through for Nana's stuff ~ ~ I know we all can't live on earth forever, but it is always a shock when you have no idea that a person is ill or going to pass away.

...Thinking about her passing, I wondered about her cats. And it got me to thinking about my birds, They can live past 25, and the youngest is almost 5. I hope that they do not outlive me.

I hadn't heard about it, either. I'm so sorry to hear this. When someone we are familiar with on this site passes, if we don't read about it right away - it sort of comes as a shock to hear. I had a few pleasant comment exchanges with her during my time here.

Hi jeanne ~ Yes, I heard about Nana's passing from Diane and Carol. Carol did a Tribute to Nana, and it has a lot of comments and condolences on it. I did this 2nd one in case some on Gather had missed Carol's Tribute to Nana.

Hi Debbie ~ Thank you for responding to this message about Nana. There is a lot of material out on Gather from her. WE should all find her works and put them together for her Tribute Collective. I'll have to get with Carol to see what she has put together thus far.

I did not realize she has passed. I am afraid I get caught up here at home with daily happenings and Gather slips through the cracks. What a wonderful tribute to someone who always had nice posts.
