This morning on the radio I heard of a nine year old with a seventeen year old boyfriend who is thought to be the youngest "woman" to give birth. I don't know what country it was in. She delivered c-section (please don't make me spell that out w/o google's help).
Seriously? Nine?! WTF? One, that's young to already be producing eggs, isn't it? I didn't start menstruating until I was 12.
And a 17 year old was messing around with her? That's like a junior in high school with a third grader.. maybe forth. Really? First off, what parent lets their daughter with a man that old. Second, what boy is interested in a girl so young? EWWWW.
Ugh... just makes me sick. That should not have happened. That poor child... the mother and the baby. I sincerely hope she has a good family to support her and her child.

And then there are millions of unreported cases every day in India, and the Middle East, where stuff like this probably happens.
I hope they find the skunk that did this and remove his equipment permanently, or they can turn him into a girl.
The growth hormones we now give our beef, pork, chicken, and farm raised fish make them mature faster and put on weight rapidly. The growth hormones don't magically vanish when the animal is processed for our consumption. If I had to choose what is bringing on early puberty and our obesity epidemic, soy would be towards the bottom of my list.
