Report: France may start Mali pullout in March

France has some 4,000 troops in Mali in an intervention that started last month against Islamist extremists who had seized the north of the country last year and had started pushing toward the capital.

...Finally France will win a war with French generals!! And it is within the war on terror that we and our allies are fighting..

Mali is basically a flat country, so advances, along those very long highways, can be strafed by the air.
They will not be called "surrender monkeys" any more.

Probably ought to hold off on declaring "Mission Accomplished!" just yet.

But yay France. It wouldn't hurt my feelings for France to take over from us being the world's 911 service. Heck, they could have our military bases too.

I aint bush 2.
...PLus, with Mali being on the coast, it s easier for them to reach.
We may have to help Pakistan, and a few other countries to eliminate terrorists as well.
