Today listened
to the beating of my heart
steady and strong
to the silence of the snow
falling white petals
to the waltz found
in the spaces in-between
We often forget
Love and loss
life and death
are also intertwined vines
each enabling the other to be
Out there in the night
you will find me
a womanchild looking up
lost in the wonder
of the intangible stars
sprinkled above

Beautiful images, Michelle.
There is an ego in us that wants us to be what we consider "something"...but the "Zen" in us accepts who we are and acknowledges we are part of a greater existence...but of course...the beauty with which you say it is without peer...
I loved these lines...
"Out there in the night
you will find me
a womanchild looking up
lost in the wonder
of the intangible stars
sprinkled above"
Solomon said "There is nothing new under the sun..." I'm not sure that statement applies to you... You prove, Michelle, that beauty is not only skin-deep...
