I guess I’ll say this about that.

A person should never be idolized for political reasons ever. We are all the same, all with the same feelings like love and hate, created equally for our benefit to fit a particular need at the right time.

We are all created from god just like the onions and peas. There is only one God.

You lost me when you started with the god presumption. Your beliefs are an unnecessary crutch I neither share or need, however I do understand why some might feel the emotional desire or need to fill their lives this way. Good luck with that and ... peace

I have a strong belief in god always have and always will. I also believe that we are all equal, thus the political stand of all religions that say that this person is basically a god and their beliefs are to be followed in this religion is just plain nuts. Those ‘god’ figures would be the common folk like Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad and Buddha, as they are no different than anyone else. The religions just used them as religions idols to follow for their own religion and the political power that those religious leaders got from them. That’s all that is about.

It's the created equal ideology I have trouble with Richard. On a physical scale this is pure fiction with regards to genetic defects. On a spiritual scale we are all comprised of energy, yet many die in child birth and that is difficult to swallow. On and intellectual scale the differences are astronimical so where is the equality in any of this.

Then the disparity in our views is actually about faith. Yours with regards to the existence of a creator and my faith in realism with regards to the explainable ability of the mind to satisfy our underlying emotional insecurities. In other words we agree to disagree:)).
