But after five minutes of website work, I'm taking a Gather break. I slept in this morning because Hubby slept in. Then when he woke up about 11, I fixed breakfast. He's doing a bit better with his cold today, for which I'm glad. I'm praying he doesn't give it to me because this week I have two doctor appointments (one dentist, one neurologist) and two or three political meetings,at one of which I'm supposed to help lead a workshop on using social networking.
I have tried to do many other things online this morning, but the Java disabling on MAC has just about pushed me to do everything in Windows 7 today. I tried installing the Pinterest button in IE but the instructions for IE kept telling me to right click on the pin-it button icon and put it in my favorites and when the pop-up popped up to specify it should go on the favorites bar. The pop-up didn't give me that option, but it did install the page for installing the pin-it button on my favorites bar -- not quite what I wanted. I was only trying to install it on IE because the pin-it button stopped working on my MAC OS, and now I've discovered Zazzle doesn't work right on my MAC either. If any of you out there are using a MAC and finding not much is working online, blame the guys who messed up Java and ActiveX
Before Feb 8 I need to finish cleaning all the links to my ebook site from my website, and that's what I'm doing now. I also have to delete a website. I hate admitting that a project I took on was a failure two years out of three.
If you don't see much of me on Gather, it's because I'm scheduling tweets for the week, sorting out my followers on Tweeter Karma, a free program Phill Senters told me about, and interacting in real time with Twitter followers and those I'm following. I also have to process and mail at least one order tomorrow and more may come in.
I'm still waiting for the sun to peek out of the clouds today.
