I had a Jiffy box of pizza crust mix, and sausage was on sale one night, and so was pasta sauce. Well, that all let to one thought in my mind-- homemade pizza!
I squished the sausage meat out of its casings (gross!) and cooked it up while Scott mixed up the dough.
When it was ready and spread out on the pan, it got pre-cooked for a few minutes. Then we added the sauce, cheese (we used cheddar, didn't have anything else) and then the sausage crumbles on top.
Cooked it up, and it was so tasty! Granted, it was a little floppy and I should have pre-cooked the crust for longer, but now I know for the future!
