Commitment 1/31/2013 - Why Commit to me?

Why Commit to me? Because without me, you are nothing. Without me, your words, knowledge and faith will do you no good whatever.

I am always patient and kind; I am never jealous; I am not boastful or conceited, I am never rude and never seek my own advantage, I do not take offence or store up grievances. I do not rejoice at wrongdoing, but find joy in the truth.

I am always ready to make allowances, to trust, to hope and to endure whatever comes.

I will never come to an end, even when all else will be done away with. Now you see me through a glass, darkly; but then you shall see me face to face: Who am I?

Love is the answer: Well done!
1st Corinthians 13 indeed.
I would have accepted God,
since as we all know God is Love.

I was going to add
"And now these three remain: faith, hope and me. But the greatest of these is me."
but that would make it too easy to guess!
In any case the moral of the story is that
Only love is worth total commitment.

You see Jesus was actually no different that you or I. To idolize someone is just for political purposes. Love and Hate are actually the very same thing, a feeling that we all have.
