The Science/Social Studies Fair

*sigh* Gather ate my first version of this... so here I go again.

I am not going to lie to you good people, I've hated the idea of the Science and Social Studies Fair since I heard about it. It's been nothing but a pain in the butt since the start and it had a great final kick for me. We have been in and out of the hospital with my daughter the entire month while trying to work on the projects. The night before the original date of the fair we stayed up and added the finishing touches to the projects and then school is cancelled the next day because of the THREAT of snow. It didn't snow until after 5 pm that day. We were annoyed, even more so that they rescheduled for a Thursday night. But here it is we are done! YAY! We know the girl got an A+ still waiting to hear the boy's grade. I am proud of them, they did all the work themselves. I just assisted, it was pretty clear in the cause of some of the projects the parents did most of the work. So here they are enjoy! :0)

They look good and it's a great experience for the kids. I had to do both science fairs and social studies fairs growing up....and so did my kids. I HATE it when parents do the projects in stead of the kids.
