Gay Dog in Tennessee Finds a Furever Home

A gay dog, is there such a thing? The Jackson, Tennessee animal shelter is making the news headlines because of this. It seems someone turned a dog into the shelter claiming the dog was acting in a homosexual manner with another male dog. Without going into too much detail, the dog was doing what dogs do.

The story hit Facebook and was shared over and over. It is a good guess that most people that read the story had some choice words for the dog's previous owner! Before long, the animal shelter was bombarded with phone calls from people that wanted to adopt this unwanted little guy. If you know anything at all about how shelters work, you know that unless it is a 'no kill shelter' most dogs don't get adopted. By turning this dog into a shelter, his previous owner could have been giving him a death sentence.

In this case, the gay dog has been adopted and the animal shelter in Jackson, Tennessee would love it if the people who were interested in this particular dog would turn their attention to one of the many others that need homes.
