Life can be peculiar. A friend of mine recently passed away. I guess you might not count him as a particularly close friend, but he was friendly enough at work, and he seemed positive in most interactions. People who are younger than oneself shouldn’t pass away. Eventually, sure, eventually, hopefully one will live a long and richly fulfilling life. By that time, there will have been many friends who are younger that have died. Life should be glorious. There should be enough happiness in one’s life such that one’s cup runneth over. Sadly there are usually others who need to cope with the fallout from what transpires. We can offer some measure of support, what we can. Death leaves holes where people once were. Interactions, no more. The world spins on regardless. Time progresses.
