'Girl Meets World' Cast: Riley Matthews Revealed!

Boy Meets World fans are excited for the new spin-off, Girl Meets World. The show is set to focus on Cory and Topanga's daughter, Riley. While fans have known that many of the original cast members are expected to return (including Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel), their daughter had not been cast - until now!

Entertainment Weekly revealed that 11-year-old Rowan Blanchard has snagged the part of the beloved couple's daughter. With long dark hair and piercing brown eyes, she emulates the features that the daughter of Cory and Topanga should have. Even though she hasn't had the chance to prove to audiences she can play the part, she already looks like she will have no trouble!

Obviously, there was a lot of interest in this part, but there is a specific reason why Rowan stood out to producer Michael Jacobs. He told the site:

"As soon as Rowan walked into the room, I was reminded of why Ben Savage was loved as Cory Matthews. Rowan is real and accessible and I am hopeful this girl is about to meet a world that will love growing up with her as well."

Of course, only time will tell if Rowan will be able to captivate audiences as well as Ben Savage did years ago and there are a lot of people hoping this show works out. To many, it is more than just a television show, but is also a part of their childhoods. Seeing the show continue is great because fans will get to watch Cory and Topanga's relationship play out as well as meet their daughter.
